The total score on the GMAT will be on a scale of 200 to 800. Two-thirds of test takers score between 400 and 600.
The Verbal and Quantitative Sections are scored on a scale of 0-60. The Verbal and Quantitative scores measure different constructs and cannot be compared to each other.
The Analytical Writing Assessment Section score is determined by an average of the two scores given to each the Issue and Argument sections. Each section is given an independent rating, with a score ranging from 0-6 in half-point increments.
